They’re both very similar. I find the 1942 version to move along quicker whereas the Brooks film tends to drag a bit. I also think the Jack Benny movie is funnier but both movies are wonderful and well worth watching. Thanks for your comment!
I second your opinion opinion Flicks..Anne Bancroft was very funny at times(The Prisoner of 2nd Avenue)but Carole Lombard was a fantastic comic actress. Both movies are very amusing.
